How the bomb timer works
- Pick a time, for example the 5 minute bomb timer or the 10 minute version, or enter your own minutes.
- Press Start. The display counts down and beeps every second.
- In the last ten seconds the beeping doubles and the light blinks faster.
- At zero there is a bang and the display shakes. Reset sets the bomb again.
Ideas for the bomb countdown
- Classroom: “Defuse the bomb” challenges. Solve the task before the 3 minute or 5 minute bomb timer goes off.
- Escape rooms and treasure hunts at home, with a 30 minute or 60 minute bomb timer on the TV.
- Party games: hot potato, word games or quiz rounds with a 1 minute countdown.
- Tidying up: clear the room before the 10 minute timer explodes.
- Videos and streams: a dramatic countdown in fullscreen.
It is only a sound effect and an animation, of course, nothing more. Turn the beeps off for a quieter countdown. For a calm countdown use the online timer or the 5 minute timer.
